The family have made Anti Oedipus Home Movie.
The set is Everton Park and our house/garden.
The parents were engaging in Anti Oedipus weekends from 1st March 2013. Gabriel has written a play whilst on Easter break in Dubrovnik.
Process:
Weekend 1: reading of Sophocles’ Oediupus Rex + reading of Freud’s Oedipus Complex (Interpretations of Dreams)
Weekend 2: watching of Pasolini’s Edipo Re + reading of Freud’s Oedipus Complex (Dissolution of the Oedipus Complex). Walk in Everton Park.
Weekend 3: reading of Deleuze and Guattari’s anti Oedipus (prologue by Foucault, introduction and the beginning section of Psychoanalysis and Familialism: The Holy Family – 1. The Imperialism of Oedipus). Filming in Everton Park.
Weekend 4: reading of Deleuze and Guattari’s anti Oedipus (section of Psychoanalysis and Familialism: The Holy Family – 2. Three Texts of Freud).

The film was developed for “unsocial sociability” exhibition at Lakeside centre in Klagenfurt, Austria. The invitation for the exhibition came from Monika Vykoukal. The exhibition takes place from 15th May to 28th June. The family slow traveled to Austria for half-term holiday.
