The End of the World + AGM

THE END OF THE WORLD – CANCELLED due to family emergency

The Institute would like to host The End of the World event to coincide with Winter Solstice on Friday, 21 December 2012 at 11:11 am.

The Mayan calendar finishes one of its great cycles in December 2012, which has fueled countless theories about the end of the world on December 21, 2012 at 11:11. One theory suggests a galactic alignment which would create chaos on Earth because of the gravitational effect between the Sun and the Black hole called Sagittarius A, which is located at the center of our galaxy. Further info is available from NASA website.

All guests need to come prepared and dressed up for The End of the World. The Institute will provide last minutes rituals and prayers from 11am to 11:11am.

If we all survive, we will address our thoughts and feelings towards The End. Cosmos giving, Winter Feast will be provided for all guests.

AGM took place on the 30th December in Benrinnes, Scotland. For 2013, we’ve decided to concentrate on ‘recovery’, ‘change’ and ‘beginnings’. Gary is also keen on ‘sustainable growth’. We might finally move to new premises and leave our Everton home. We hope to publish the Institute book – following from our new website. We will commission 4 artist residencies one of which will be publication commission.
